Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium (SBAC) Test
Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium (SBAC) Field Testing Complete.
Computer-Based Testing California will be providing adaptive, online spring assessments aligned with the new Common Core standards. These new assessments are often referred to as the ‘SBAC’. If you would like to see samples of test questions, you can visit the website and click on “Practice and Training Tests” at http://sbac.portal.airast.org/ca/. These exams will replace the Standardized Testing and Reporting (STAR) assessments in the testing program at your child's school.
The Secure Browser must be downloaded and installed on your computer. The sample questions must be viewed through it.
As with other testing, you can help your child do their best by ensuring that they go to bed early and eat breakfast in the morning!

Please Click Here if you are interested in applying for this opportunity. The use of a personal or office computer or tablet is required. LPUSD will not provide technology to participants for this purpose, but technology that has already been provided to participants for other tasks may be used.
